L’Anichino is a farm in the Maremma traditionally dedicated to the cultivation of olives, high in the hills bordering the Etruscan excavations of Roselle, with a breathtaking view down to the sea, from Castiglione della Pescaia to the Parco dell’Uccellina nature reserve.
In 2014 the farm was accredited as an organic enterprise, and we produce not only extra virgin olive oil but also wildflower honey and vegetables such as aubergines, courgettes, peppers …
Holiday Apartments
The nucleus of the establishment consists of a two-storey farmhouse, which in recent weeks has been completely refurbished to create an accommodation facility with four apartments completely independent from one another. In addition, the ground floor is to become a genuine country inn, offering the opportunity to enjoy typical dishes of the Maremma tradition made from local organic produce with zero food miles.
Around the farmhouse there are extensive green areas with shady spots from which you can enjoy a panorama stretching right down to the sea, and there is to be an outdoor pool with a sun terrace and a spa with a sauna and jacuzzi. There will also be convenient parking, adjacent to the apartments.

Our farm L’Anichino is in the production area of the Montecucco DOC wine. It’s possible to organize tasting tours at the nearby Muschi Alti winery.

Excursions between nature and archaeology
The farm is bordered to the south by the archaeological park of Roselle and to the northeast by public land, consisting of approximately 3000 hectares of woodland, interspersed with gravel roads closed to motor vehicles and immersed in the Mediterranean maquis, perfect for exploration on foot, horseback or mountain bike.
